Device works great, but reformat and use OS native encryption and … Device works great, but reformat and use OS native encryption and password protection instead, the Samsung software on my T1 stopped working after a MacOS update and never worked again, data was permanently lost.
Not a Samsung T-5 – Confirmed by Samsung 500 GB external hard drive was delivered with 87 MB of space. Called Samsung support and the serial number confirmed that this is not a Samsung product. I don’t know what third party Amazon bought this product from but they should be investigated immediately.
