The movie mode button is placed in a position that causes accidental activation. The biggest issue with this has been missed capturing action shots. Even as I’m aware of the potential issue it’s hard to concentrate on the subject matter and accidentally hitting the movie button. Small but Mighty! This is an amazing camera, given its small size and extensive capabilities. I’m still plowing through the 200+ page user manual (yes, it’s online, but I really think Sony should provide a hard copy…), which is pretty thorough. The camera’s built-in Scene selections are quite accurate, but you can manage all the manual settings yourself, if you like. Excellent and easy camera This is a great camera for the non professional who wants high quality photos. Having the viewfinder was a big help in daytime photos. I keep it on a “smart setting” so I don’t have to figure out which setting to use.
