Buy a Battery Charger! This is a 4 star rating based solely on the fact that there wasn’t a battery charger included in the box! The batter is a Casio NP-40 type, which is not charged by a USB cable, so I am not sure what the seller means by “it can be charged while using.” Make sure to buy a NP-40 Charger as well! I found one on Amazon that comes with two batteries for $13.99! Never hurts to have extra batteries! I will update my review (but not the rating due to the missing charger) after having used the camcorder itself.
Pleased with purchase Length:: 1:17 Mins I purchased this to record service in our church. We were using a Samsung tablet and wanted better quality on video and audio. The price and brand made me cautious. After Googling and doing research I made the purchase. Some of our lighting situations have proved to be tricky, but negotiable (too bright of an immovable spot light right over my bald head!). Video quality ranges from good to very good plus imo. The external mic that is supplied does extremely well in podcast range (2-4 feet), good at 6-8 feet, poor at 12 feet. The video is at very close range using the attachable mic at highest setting.
