That’s a really good headset. I’m pleased with it That’s a really good headset. I’m pleased with it, however it got some slight issues.Pros: – Good sound. Fits both for listening music and gaming (nice option switching the 7.1 technology between Dolby / DTS Headphone X). – Great battery time, 12 hours as promised with LEDs off. – Nice mic, sound is clear and without white noise. – Programmable buttons. I needed only one though for PTT in voice chats, no idea how to put them to another use. – Software: LEDs, buttons, equalizer, ability to adjust the sidetone for mic. – The headset is adjustable, the cushions are comfortable and provide a decent noise isolation – The construction seems pretty sturdy. Had Steelseries Siberia v2, they didn’t look very solid from the beginning. – Price. Got it for $102, very nice for this price.Cons: – Head cushion came off on one side after putting the headset on for the first time – Distance is a bit low, already lagging in…
Alright when working, service is nearly nonexistent I am typically a big fan of Logitech, but this experience has really thrown me off. I enjoyed the headset a lot – when it worked. I am now about to be on my second replacement, and while they EVENTUALLY get back to you, the headset seems to me, in my experience, to be poorly built. 2 of them have failed on me due to obvious manufacturer defects as nothing has happened out of the ordinary to the mic.Again, the headset does deserve credit where it is due: it is a great headset when it is working properly. I am simply disappointed in the lack of quality in the build as it’s failed twice, and this would not really be an issue for me if the customer service was something to be happy with. However, as it is probably obvious to those of you reading by now, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Both times I opened a ticket with them about the two separate failures they took well over a week to reply, even after trying to escalate. Thankfully the first time around I had a backup…
A Monster of a Headset – Logitech does it again! This headset is (nearly) everything I’d hoped it would be.I’m a longtime Logitech fan but I’ve tried out many other brands of headsets the last couple of years as well. I’ve had 2 pairs of G35s (Both broke at the ear joint in the same place) and one pair of G930s. Personally, I prefer the wired Logitech headset to the wireless ones, as the G35s I thought were generally built a tad more sturdy than the G930s.[Comfort]The G933 feels remarkably tight and solid for how light it is; doesn’t feel too flimsy like a pair of G930s or G4/230s. It’s hard to describe how it feels when they grip your ears, I’ve never had another headset like this one – there’s almost a horizontal pressure coming from the muffs allowing them to evenly clamp to your head. It’s a strange sensation but it works and I like it. There is an incredible amount of swivel in the ears if that’s what you’re into, like G930s plus maybe 10% wider range. Not a critical feature, but you know, some…
