Defective or Scammy but replaced by HP Update: The cartridge works just fine, the sensing mechanism that tells you how many pages you have is completely FUBAR. I am getting slightly more than the specified 12,500 printed pages. But you cannot rely on the little dialogue box to accurately report the number of pages remaining. When a cartridge is newly installed it tells you there are only 125 pages remaining. After printing a few thousand pages it suddenly begins telling you that the cartridge is full. O WHAT? USED? Ordered for my laserjet.One of them appeared as ‘used’ on my laserjet printer. it has about little more than 6000 which is not what it supposed to have. High Yield is the way to go with these toners. And don’t even waste your time with the off brand ones or the recycled ones. High Yield is the way to go with these toners. I run a training company and we print out our own manuals on a weekly basis. We tried several that were less expensive, but the OEM ones, even though a little bit more money, pay for themselves in the end. They actually end up cheaper!
