The sensor’s design also omits an optical low-pass filter in order to achieve greater sharpness and resolution from both photos and videos.

Great quality in a compact size This is my 3rd Nikon camera over the last 25 years. The first two were great. When i received the d3500 i was so impressed with its compact size. As usual with nikon, it is a sturdy, well made camera. So far the pics have been great. Most pics have been of my 7 month old grand daughter . Bright light..low light and trying to capture an active infant.. it has not disappointed.
