a very informative book in a nicely packaged format I’ve looked at a few early books regarding the D600; this one compares favorably. Another plus for this little gem is it’s size & format– it’s bound spirally & stays open. It’s small enough to throw into a camera bag, too. (too big for a pocket, however). It covers most if not all the same ground as the other books– buttons, menus and all that. Nicely Done! I also have Busch’s primary guide book (5 Stars) that’s a great reference book.It’s unabridged but too heavy to carry in the field. This Field Guide is light with metal spiral binding and includes much of the primary books’ content. Hence, a good case could be made that the Field Guide is all you might ever need! The primary guide is larger as well as the images but the Field Guide doesn’t suffer so much by being smaller and portable. As I typically don’t buy higher end camera equipment…
