Great card, but don’t overpay! The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GAMING OC is a great card, offering performance roughly equivalent to the RTX 2080 at a lower price point. However, there seem to be a lot of dishonest and scummy scalpers that are selling these 2070S cards for well above retail price. Don’t pay more than $549.99 for this card!
Video output cuts out I had the card running well for about maybe 2 weeks until the video and audio output decided to start cutting out. I had a 1060 3gb running on 2 displays, previous to installing the 2070 super, with no issues ever! The 2070 super after just 2 weeks decided to cut out the video display. I tried reseeding the card, switching PCI slots, restoring PC to factory settings, uninstalling old drivers, etc…but nothing seemed to work. When the card ran, it actually ran very good in 4k. Graphics card is great, but don’t buy from Amazon! This graphics card is wonderful and works well. The problem was with Amazon flubbing up the promo code. This card was supposed to come with a promo code to get Control and Wolfenstein Youngblood free. I did receive the code, however when I entered it, it says that the code has already been redeemed. According to nvidia support, it had been redeemed buy a Russian email address. Neither Nvidia, Gigabyte, or Amazon support has done anything as of yet, and it’s been almost 3 weeks since I received…
