Certified Refurbished is LIKE NEW! I’m not going to discuss the many great features of this camera; plenty of other reviews already do that. I had been using a circa-2008 Nikon D40 for the past decade which enabled me to take hundreds of beautiful photos. But it did not include video capabilities and newer lenses (like the AF-P 18-55mm VR which comes with this D5600) focus faster, have other benefits, but don’t work with the D40. Like new My first dsl camera …I did a lot of research and decided this was the one. Although refurbished I have not noticed it to be used looked brand new to me. There have been no issues or concerns w/this camera and it takes wonderful pictures,video and time-lapse.
but it’s been amazing! Takes great photos I was very nervous to do a refurbished camera, but it’s been amazing! Takes great photos! Warning tho to those who are moving up from older cameras of Nikon.. it is a different file type which I found out the hard way. Thankful for the free converter I found, but my old Lightroom program doesn’t take this file type.
