Poor Activity Tracking/Calorie Burn Tracking The watch itself was beautiful and felt nice. However, there are issues with the activity tracking and calories burned. As a 5 foot 9 inch woman, there was no way that I had burned over 5800 calories with just a 30 minute walk before 1:00 PM.If you are looking to use this purely as a smart watch, I would recommend. If you want this as a fitness and health tracker, look elsewhere. I am in the process of returning this watch.
So… I guess it’s pretty much perfect I’ve had the Gear Fit2 since June 2016 and was looking to upgrade. I saw the splashy event Samsung held for this in February 2019, and had to get it. My largest reason (besides the fact that the Gear Fit2 will inevitably die) was for the aesthetic upgrade. The Gear Fit2 was very “Hey I’m wearing a fitness watch!” with its long, rectangular curve wrapping partially around the wrist.
