The optics are good and it has a nice zoom range from 25-200mm. Just got back from a 4 day trip and used this camera throughout. Battery lasted the entire trip but it was great having a second fully charged battery as backup from the package…
Great camera for it’s size. Just got the zs100 camera. Purchased for its size (wish it was smaller). Long reach of 250mm equlevent lens. Hoping it is ideal for travel. Love my lx85 and asortment of lenses but need a camera I can put in a pocket and take on trips and vacations. Also I have enjoyed Cameta Camera for their knowlage, selection, and conviniance. A great resource for photogrphers.
Great Camera, Great Cameta I am very pleased with the Lumix ZS100. I knowingly bought a several years old model because I love the Leica lens and my ZS40 had stopped zooming (I had bought a reconditioned model and it went into repair twice while on warranty). This model has exceeded my expectations on picture quality, with functions that are familiar. It is definitely heavier, less compact than the ZS40 but the expanded features are worth the extra weight.
