Product is dead without power or wifi connection So if you live in an area with power issues or any kind of network issues, this product is not for you. If you do not intend to buy the addition monthly subscription at $30 per camera, and 5 days is ok with you.. fine. If you already have a very high speed / unlimited network connection… no problem. We had the limited cable at 30GB, which nest took it all… oops! There goes another $30 per month for higher speed / higher use cable internet plan! But if you go on vacation for a few…
Easy to install and use! We like the cameras. They are super easy to install and have long power cords. The caveat I have with these is that the notification from the app is delayed and the delay is not predictable. Which means I have not been able to actually talk to someone that has approached (e.g UPS Delivery Driver)
Bye bye Ring! Replacing my ring devices due to inconsistent connection even with full wifi signal. I’ve also pre-ordered the nest hello doorbell to replace my ring that has trouble connecting to my phone. I’ve called ring many times to remedy. They have always been helpful but a reliable security device is absolutely necessary. I’m tired of calling ring and troubleshooting all the time although they have been easy to deal with.
