Microsoft combines the portability of a tablet and the performance of a laptop with the Surface Pro 3 64GB 12″ Multi-Touch Tablet. Weighing just 1.76 pounds and measuring just 0.36″ thin, the Surface Pro 3 packs 4th-gen Haswell Intel Core processing power into a magnesium casing with a silver finish.
The Surface Pro 3 features a 12″ ClearType Full HD Plus widescreen display with a 2160 x 1440 native resolution, which allows you to play Full HD content with ease. The display is also a touchscreen so you’ll be able to take full advantage of the multi-touch gestures incorporated into Windows 8.1 Pro. If you want to output video to an external display, you can use the mini DisplayPort.
The system is powered by a dual-core 4th generation Haswell 1.5 GHz Intel Core i3-4020Y processor. It also has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of flash storage, a microSDXC media card slot, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, two 1080p cameras, and integrated dual microphones. There are also built-in stereo speakers with Dolby audio. Windows 10 Pro is the installed operating system.

It’s fine, but be WARNED! Loving this computer! What a great deal! But be WARNED! When I initially set up this computer many functions were inoperable: Settings, Microsoft Edge, Windows Defender, and Windows Update. These functions and more would either not open at all or would crash upon open. I spent 5 hours trying to solve this problem, and it was solved, but let me save you some time. Your computer needs to go through some updates, but I was unable to initiate them manually, while I was experiencing the above…
Overall Good Deal We received the computer and tried to get it started. It would not complete the start-up program. We had to bring it to a computer place and pay $100 for them to wipe and reinstall the programs. After that was done the computer seems to be working ok. Still not a bad deal for the package. The pen and power supply are not “Microsoft” products. The keyboard is, but has given my daughter a few problems. I’d probably buy again….
Great for simple stuff I needed a Windows based laptop for mostly PowerPoint and data entry. As much as I love my iPad, itâs lack of mouse support and the fact that my company web apps are not all iOS friendly made using it difficult. I wanted the smallest functional Windows machine I could get.I chose a the refurb Surface Pro because quite frankly, the new ones are an absolute rip off.
