Great sound – Faulty Design The sound is fantastic. The mechanics of the system is inferior to earlier models. I have had a Bose music system for many (20) years- the earlier models have a flip up top lid that allows you to easily remove or readjust a disc that is not running properly. For the new system you insert a disc, and you cannot get into the area where the disc is. This new unit rejects any disc that is not standard — so if the disc is slightly thicker it will not play. Ineffective BOSE Customer Service – Regret buying; OUTSTANDING Amazon Customer Service We have used Bose radios to play a calming CD as an alarm for many years This is the 3rd Bose Radio we have had (the first one died and Bose will not repair it because it is “too old”). Great device, well made I thought that I would simply note that when I originally purchased several items directly from BOSE, and choose to return them, the customer service was abyssal. It took over an hour in total, over the course of three weeks, to straighten out what was being returned, the sending of the return labels.
