Great deal on a Great Camera I have had great luck with this refurbed Camera, excellent value for money.I was able to get the camera, filters, case, remote control and memory card for less than the price of a non-refurbished camera. The condition was as new and operation is flawless.
and even with this camera I recommend tripod use I had reviewed this camera quite well before purchasing it. Typically one must use a tripod once you get over 250-300 mm, and even with this camera I recommend tripod use, but if one is careful you can obtain passable images without a tripod. I was on a tour in Denali Alaska and a man on the tour with me had this camerah was bracing on the tour bus window and photographing individual Dall Sheep while I could only obtain group shots. I only had a 18-255 mm lens as well as assorted other lens…
steady with a monopod Still evaluating the camera after decades of heavy DSLR use. I also have a Sony mirrorless so shooting with such a small/light camera I’ve used to, but as noted by others, it’s not easy to handhold at the max zoom!! I am seeing more sharpness at max digital zoom than at 2000mm optical zoom!! Here’s a few pix snapped recently. I have a monopod and will use it the next time I am shooting to see how much more steadiness I get.
