Amazing Accomplishment To be able to update such a highly regarded lens as the AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/4D IF-ED with one that is sharper is an achievement in itself. But to be able to cut the weight in half, and cut it’s length by 1/3 while providing the latest coatings and the latest image stabilization is astounding. I’ve been using it for a couple of months and am very, very happy with the image quality I’m seeing.
