Arlo Pro vs. Nest vs. Smartcam I’m a longtime Dropcam/Nest and Samsung Smartcam user. I had some locations outside far from power outlets where I wanted surveillance, purchased and Arlo Pro system for this coverage. I have to say, after a few weeks of use I prefer the Arlo Pro to my Nest and Samsung camera systems. 2 month review…updated 11/10/17 I’ve had these cameras for 2 months now, so I feel I can write a fair review. I bought this system because I wanted to hang cameras outside of my house so that I can see what’s going on when I’m not home and so my wife can feel safer.
