BIG… I mean BIIIIG! BOTTOM LINE – This is a fantastically cost-effective, large piece of kit that just works!YES, you read the dimensions. YES, you read the reviews. But you are still not ready for the sheer size of this thing!BE sure to open it up in a large room or you may just:1. break your valuable ornaments2. decapitate the cat, or3. slice your jugular!Whilst it sits there happily, out of its bag, when you DO start to unfold it, it will suddenly become this humungous, wild thing that absorbs the space around you.Once it is open, this double-coloured chroma key screen is light and has fabric loops for portrait or landscape hanging and, I am sure, will do exactly what you have purchased it for.Folding IS hard, but there are many YouTube tutorials, and, once you have practiced either of the two folding options, you will find that it’s not as hard as you first thought.
Not for me… I purchased this because of the reviews of others, and was hoping to have the same experience, but just wasn’t the case. There are 2 big issues I had with the one that I got. The first is the frame wouldn’t stay straight, so the screen would twist, causing lighting and shadow issues. The second is the color green is just a little too dark. I was super hopeful that this thing would be amazing, because the price is so good, however, it won’t work out, and I have to return it.
Little tricky to put away but a very solid piece of equipment. I use this all the time for portraits and editing is a breeze because of this. I can easily knock out the background and put whatever background for my subject. As you can see in the example you don’t have to fill the shot with all green but the most important thing is that your subject is completely in the frame of the green screen so that masking out the hair and details are easy in post production.
