Good value, but bundle probably only good for low end Canon EOS Rebel users! The bundle came with a lot of “junk” that wasn’t really fitted for a $2,300 camera. IMO, owners of full-frame cameras including this $2,300 camera are more selective and would prefer to use – and probably already have – higher end peripherals. For example, I already have a good tripod and monopod, I already have Adobe Light Room and Photoshop software for editing (and Canon’s own DPP works very good anyhow), I already have a handful of quality backpacks and/or bags (don’t all photographers…
Great quality camera with c-log for videos Canon has done an excellent job with the EOS R camera. It performs well in every way and is very high quality. Iâm glad Iâm coming from a 6D mark 1 rather than a 5D mark 4 because I think it makes me more objective about the EOS Râs functionality. So, Iâm not angry with Canon because they didnât make a mirrorless 1D or 5D with the same layout as the old cameras.I love the flip out screen and how well it works as a touch screen. The Camera works great. The kit is just ok. The EOS-R takes amazing photos and the auto-focus is extremely fast. I do have a few minor issues with the kit that comes with it. The small flex tripod is almost too weak to hold up the camera and I wouldn’t trust it for extended use. The mic that came with the kit didn’t work, and none of the software can read or edit *.cr3 files. (To be fair, at this time almost no photo editing software can read *.cr3 files.)
