A Must Have for Serious Photographers I’m a professional photographer and have been using Canon cameras and lenses for about 20 years. I’ve done all types of photography and have gotten by all this time without a Macro Lens. But, recently I wanted to capture some insects in detail and nothing will do that better than a macro. This purchase was one of the best decisions I have made in a long time. This lens is incredible! The focal length allows for some distance from to better prevent disturbing the subject. The very quick auto-focus and image stabilization has resulted in some amazing shots. A must have for serious photographers!
Love it! Dual Purpose and Upgradeable! I’m not going to go over all the same things of others in the 5 star reviews, but this lens is excellent! I have an aps-c sensor t4i camera. Took some outdoors fun photos of my daughter yesterday and the images were awesome! I love the fun of taking pictures of small things close up, (which it did wonderfully of coarse) and I love the fact that it has IS for when I want to use it for indoor sports action. (haven’t tried that yet but I’m thinking it will do that with ease. I’ll let you know). Also, it is an L and when I decide someday to upgrade to a full frame camera, I’ll be all set. Oh, Goga shipped everything and all the extras were included just as they said all for no extra cost. My advise though to them, it really isn’t quality stuff though and people that buy these high quality expensive lens are usually people that only like and use other high quality accessories like myself. I guess I can give it away to someone less picky, but I think it would be more enticing to this…
