Nice lense, arrived early I got my lense a couple of days early, thanks for the quick shipping!I’m using this lens on a Nikon D3200.Mine is made in China, brown/gold box. So far I love it! Much better than the kit lens and the older/lower quality 55-200 it is replacing. I do some shooting of my kid’s indoor sports so the better low light performance and VR will pay off big. The zoom range is also more appropriate for situations where I’ll be walking around with just the one lens on the camera. So far no obvious problems with it being “no warranty” so I’ll update it if anything changes.I did buy this with the amazon basic UV filter and was quite disappointed in that filter due to quite horrible flaring from light sources not even in the frame. Get a good multi-coated filter, end of story.Check dpreview lense buying guide and online reviews for how to get the most of this lens. Recommended!
Nikon 18-140mm Lens This is the second lens that I bought (outside of the included kit lenses) for my D3300. So far I’m impressed. I like the versatility of being able to go from 18 to 140mm with a single lens. This will be my new go-to lens for vacations and hiking trips. The rotation to zoom in and out is really smooth. There is not a lock feature to prevent the lens from accidentally rotating and extending out, but it seems to hold in place pretty securely. I’ve added a couple pics to show the size compared to the 55-200mm lens.
