This D7100 Guide Book is a made-from and incomplete D7000 Guide Book… Having purchased David Busch’s excellent guidebook and Field Guide for my Nikon D7000, I used them both for the D7000 and at first for my D7100, which replaced my D7000. Much of the D7000 information was applicable to the D7100, but some was not. So, I pre-ordered his D7100 guidebook and Field Guide. A Complex Guide to a Complex Tool This book tells the average weekend photographer more than he will ever want to know about the D7100 camera and how to use its many features to advantage. Busch makes a heroic efforts to reduce complex technology to the level of understanding possessed by the average consumer. But I’m not sure that can be done by anyone.
