… rented the lens for a trip and fell in love with it I rented the lens for a trip and fell in love with it. I instantly purchased one and have not regretted it at all. Not very heavy, good size and is very sharp. I have been doing photography for about 3 years now and I really wanted a wide prime lens. After using it in Florida on vacation, I don’t think I could ever be without it. This is my go to landscape lens now. The sun stars that this lens produces are beautiful as well.I think that for the money, this is a fantastic purchase…
My favorite prime. This lens is absolutely stellar, my favorite for landscapes. Turns out sharp images and performs well under any lighting conditions. I am in love with this lens.
Great Lens – when it is stopped down Great Lens – when it is stopped down. When shot wide open it has issues – AF issues. I tried two copies and the focus was so far off on both that AF fine tune could not help. Shame because I loved the results when I shot landscapes. People not so much – missed critical focus almost every time.
