Great Next Gen As a previous owner of both digital SLRs and a Nikon point and shoot camera, I found this next gen camera fit my needs better. The digital eye viewer solves the problem of sun wiping out the monitor. The monitor also blew me away with its 360 flexibility. Makes overhead shots and very low shots much easier. Enjoying using this new tool.
Digital viewfinder Only had the camera for an hour or so. Had to call Nikon service to find out how to see thru the LCD and viewfinder. In the sun during mid day I could not see anything thru the viewfinder and thru the lcd it was so dark that I could not distinguish what was in the viewer. Nikon was great and helped me change the setting to see what was in the lcd viewfinder but because of the digital viewfinder there was no adjustment that could make it light enough to see the scene.
