I LOVE this camera but … 70-300mm LENS WARNING!! OK, we are new to the land of DSLR’s and I seriously spent 4 hours researching them and the difference between full frame and non full frame. For our use and the price I was confident the Nikon D5300 (non full frame) would be perfect for what we wanted. Almost went with Cannon but the features on the D5300 swayed me.HOWEVER, I made one mistake, I paid extra to receive the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED Lens which is MUCH different from a AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G VR…
This is probably more Camera than I know what to … This is probably more Camera than I know what to do with. This was genuine NikonUSA (not grey market international version) with a one year Camera warranty and five year warranty on both lenses. Both Lenses auto focus. I don’t have any negatives yet
Good Value Good entry level camera. The kit lens is ok to walk around with. I would recommend the telephoto be used while the camera is on a tripod though. I have used this camera body with Nikon 24-120mm f4, sigma 150-600mm, and others. If your not getting the results you are looking for, try upgrading your lens from the ones included in this kit. This camera body is capable of getting surprisingly good photos.
