Great package for the price but… For the price, all the included items are a great deal (camera bag, charger, 2 spare batteries, small tripod, screen protectors & cleaners). However, it would be better if the vendor explicitly stated that the included spare batteries and charger are not original Sony products but 3rd party accessories (for the sake of clarity). The two spare batteries included are different brands and capacities (Bower 1800 mAh & Vivitar 1400 mAh not the described 2 x 1600MAH Battery Pack). The battery charger…
RX100, now with phase detect autofocus! If you’re used a camera in the RX100 series, then the way to think about this one is the same thing, except with phase detection autofocus (and some other features including improved high ISO performance. It’s a fantastic upgrade over previous models, and I’d highly recommend buying this model over a previous one.
Phenomenal Pocket Camera & the Seller is the Best For the same price as the competitors, Beach camera throws in a myriad of essential and useful accessories. I purchased this camera to compliment my full frame when I just couldn’t carry around a whole rig. I could spend forever talking about the tried and true RX series, but if you are considering the VA versus the VI, unless you need that 8x zoom the VA is a much better performer in low light and capturing tiny details with its f1.8 lens (versus the f2.8 max on the VI).
