The Sigma 35mm 1.4 DG HSM is a state of the art lens designed for full frame cameras but can also be used with APS-C sensors as well. The first addition to the Art category in Sigma’s Global Vision, the 35mm 1.4 DG HSM includes new features based around a unique lens concept and design. The 35mm is a staple focal length in the world of photography, and paired with Sigma technology, this lens can take artistic expression to the next level. The lens is equipped with technology including a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM), floating internal focusing system, SLD and FLD Glass elements. The HSM ensures quiet, high speed, accurate autofocusing while the floating focusing system allows for superior optical performance with subjects at a closer shooting distance. The SLD glass elements along with the FLD glass elements, which are equal to fluorite, help correct both axial and chromatic aberration. The large 1.4 aperture make it ideal in low light and the lens is compatible with the Sigma USB dock and Optimization Pro software to adjust and fine tune focusing parameters. MOTOR DE ENFOQUE DAÃADO Tengo 1 año exacto de haber comprado el lente y lo utilizaba con mi cuerpo de cámara Canon 6D. Hace unos dÃas compre la Sony A7iii y con ella compre el MC11 sigma. Note que a la hora de enfocar tenÃa problemas para enfocar, pensé que era tal vez falta de conocimiento mÃo ante la cámara la cuestión fue que probé otros lentes y era el mismo problema le costaba enfocar o nunca enfocaba. hace unos dÃas estaba grabando un video y el lente se detuvo y no volvió a enfocar más me lo que hice fue probar el lente con mi cuerpo antiguo “Canon 6D” y tampoco dio respuesta el lente no enfoca. Pienso que la montura MC11 de la misma compañÃa Sigma daño el motor de enfoque del lente. espero que sea una empresa seria y den una respuesta profesional a este tema tan engorroso.NOTA: El lente nunca se me ha caido o golpeado para que de ese fallo.
Fantastic Lens This is the best 35mm I have ever owned. I’ve read the reviews and found them to be true. This is truly a fantastic lens if you’re looking for a 35mm 1.4. I’m sold on Sigma for both photo and video! I’m a corporate photographer and use this lens as my every day shooter. Super fast and accurate focus. I also use this on my GH4 with a speedbooster for shooting video. Depth of field is gorgeous. Very well made with a nice feel.
