Low quality headphone amp, poor frequency range overall I wanted to buy this as a way for me to get to feel the bass when I listen to music in my apartment. I was pretty excited to try this out. It ended up being really disappointing.The good:* It does help you feel some of the bass range.* Nice packaging I guess* Bluetooth pairing was painlessThe bad:* It seems like itâs only able to reproduce bass in the 120-50hz rangeIf youâre into bass music like dubstep, or west coast bass, this will not come anywhere near what youâd hope for in terms of sensation. Most of the bass frequencies in that type of music are too low for this thing to reproduce.* The headphone amp/DAC is just awful. All sound stage in music is lost.It also must have a low pass filter and be filtering bass out below a certain frequency for the headphone output because it makes my extremely good headphones sound like itâs missing a whole range of frequencies.Their marketing says…
it really does a great job. I also love the fact that it’s … I’m really enjoying my Strap and if you want to feel music or games, it really does a great job. I also love the fact that it’s compact and lightweight. Def a big plus when it comes to carrying with you & using it for a few hours. I’ve even had some workouts with it). On a side note, I also had the SubPac M2 which does pretty much the same thing (it’s stronger but I lowered the intensity anyways, otherwise it becomes annoying), but it’s also pricier and bulkier. I find the Strap more accurate as well. So for a convenient immersive experience, take a closer look at this one.
