CPUs are exciting again. I use this mostly for DOOM â93 and Notepad. Works amazing! I love staring at all the threads in task manager.
Arrived before Xmas, you must spam refresh to purchase this. Did not include promotional games 🙁 Wonderful chip, no issues, however Amazon honoring their promotional partnership with AMD…not so much. The main ad on this product page shows âEquipped to Winâ on the poster, AMD main sites shows the promotion qualifies to Ryzen 9 3000 series and Amazon as a selling and participating partner….very deceiving.12/13/19 Edit:After reading a a recent review from another gentleman on his success with receiving the promotion code, I decided to go through Amazon customer service…
State of the Art for the mainstream. Drop in replacement for my 3 year old 1800x (which served me well). Updated the BIOS on an x370 motherboard et voila! This monster is supported!I love it! More cores than you know what to do with, and an incredible single thread performance to boot. Incredible power efficiency as well.This is the best mainstream CPU on the market by quite some margin. I don’t see myself upgrading any time soon, unless AMD changes the game yet again!
