Light, powerful, and great for typing. I use a gaming laptop as my work laptop too. I’m a writer, and I also do audio and video recording and editing. Then once I’m off the clock, I’m a long-time gamer.This beauty handles all of these with amazing aplomb.The keyboard is fast and smooth, the screen is beautiful, and the six cores and 16GB ram mean that even with lots of VST’s running, my performance is rock solid.Battery life isn’t great, but it’s a gaming laptop: that’s not odd.

I have had many problems with my computer and Asus has refused to replace the unit. The computer I got from Asus via Amazon has never workded. I took it to the Asus Repair center. They replaced the battery. This took a month. As a result the time to request a replacement from Amazon ran out because of Asus taking so long to replace the battery. The battery had been replaced but the computer still does not turn on after having sat turned off for three days. I returned to the repair center today.
