Doesn’t work with Mac The reason I give Canon a 1 star is because they are not doing enough to provide good support for Macs – despite claiming their scanners work with Macs. I had another Canon scanner which I liked but it stopped working with newer Macs so I decided to upgrade to this one, and it’s still not working right. Disappointed with Canon.
Great little machine, great software as well I’ve only used this machine for a week now but I am very impressed with it. I was used to using a Fujitsu scanner for many years and I think this machine is comparable, if not better. I downloaded the driver AND software (CaptureOn Touch V4 Pro) from the Canon website and it was install, plug in and go. Didn’t even have to reboot! Feeds Incorrectly …… I was extremely excited to get this new scanner. When I scanned a duplex / multi-page document (my norm) – it would feed from the front & not back – so you place pages 6,5,4, etc into the scanner and you get scan & returned 2,1, 4,3, 6,5 always an incorrect scan and manipulating the document.After 50 minutes with Canon tech support – and kept answering the same question over & over again regarding feeding – I just returned it.
