DVR fan is very loud and the Apps need work I have been using it this for over a month now and for the price, it is pretty good but it does have some flaws. The picture quality both day and night is actually really good but if you want to read license plates from more than 15ft away, go with a 4k system. 12fps is the highest speed the included cameras can record at and itâs kind of jerky if a car drives by but itâs fine for most uses and saves hard drive space. Ok system for basic security system The camera system is good, but I paid more for the night time color mode and thatâs not a setting you can turn on. Itâs regular night vision, which is just ok. Nothing special about the night vision. A bit blurry and you wonât be able to see the persons face.The app is great, but does glitch when you want to change settings. The app temporarily updates the settings, but switches it back right away.
Good motion recording, Good iphone App. noisy fan. We recently moved in and the house has a 3 season porch attached to the back of the Garage. I haven’t gotten around to hanging a more secure door than the Aluminum storm door that came with the house. So we wanted to cover this area well. After booting the system and seeing how it all worked, I felt I didn’t need it hooked to a TV, so I elected to put the unit up in the Garage Attic to get the most out of the 60 foot cables.
