Close, but could be better I added one of these to compliment a Ring Pro doorbell that I recently installed. Like other Ring products, they provide lots of installation extras, including tools, and the instructions were quite good. Buyer beware! This camera is a very practical product. Great picture quality. HOWEVER. Unless your router is less than 10 feet away from where you plan to mount the camera, youâll have to also buy a Wi-Fi booster from Ring for an additional $50. And even that might not work. The receivers in the camera and the booster must be incredibly weak. My camera is no more than 50 feet from my router, and it cannot connect.
