“Windows 10 S” The laptop works great, but the initial setup is a disaster. Microsoft wants you to login with a Microsoft account. Once you get past that, you’ll discover that this is “Windows 10 S”. Secure. You can’t run applications unless you get them the Microsoft Store. I had to buy a Windows 10 “Pro” license to make it functional. Stay away…..
Product was not as described. Ackward return process. Several serious omissions in the product description, for example, the operating system, battery change process, lack of user documentation (even for quick start-up}. The return process is deliberately difficult… even UPS, who I had to pay} was confounded. Contacting the supplier by phone does not work… apparently no personnel are in the U.S. office.
Very Good Budget Machine I’ve had a few days to play with it now, and it seems to be solid, well built and stable. This machine is not fast but not so slow as to want to toss it through the window. The battery lasted 2.5 hrs watching Youtubes. The volume out of the box is weak, but can be tweaked to be rather loud. I didn’t deduct any stars since this a budget machine with a low end processor and weak battery, and I expected as much. The feature set makes this irresistible at this price point, though…
