Bulky & Hard to Use Bought this lamp to do lash extensions and it did not work out. The base is really heavy so that it stays put ( which is a great thing so that it doesn’t fall over) but it was not easy to move with one hand. The magnifier opening is too small to see clearly with both eyes so you have to focus in with either one eye or the other. This was not good as I have to use both eyes to focus in to lash. You have to get really close to the item that you are trying to view in order to see clearly. Over all, this product did not work out for what I intended to use it for because it was bulky at the base, hard to manipulate, poor in size at the magnifier space, and you had to get too close to the object when using the magnifier. Do not buy this for lashing. The lighting was ok.
Great for detailed work I bought this to use in my medical practice about 2 months ago to look at skin lesions and do minor procedures. I am VERY pleased with the quality of light, steadiness of the stand and arm, and particularly find the magnification very useful. I would highly recommend it for similar applications.
Extends and adjusts This magnifying led adjustable floor standing and rolling light is perfect. I was worried for the price it might be just so-so on quality and longevity but it seems very sturdy more akin to the ones you see in doctors and dentists offices. I wish the magnification lens had a little increased power area like other lamps Iâve seen but the adjustable light color temp makes up for that and I can use my close-up goggles if I need to get real close to small things. Iâve only had it for a couple weeks but the shaft seems well attached to the base and the base is heavy enough to keep the light from falling over except in the over 1/2 extension area where youâd pull the light to extend and it wants to tip. Here you will need 2 hands to adjust it. Iâm using the lamp as a light and magnifier for my hobby workshop. In this capacity the color temp adjustment is perfect to see an object under different lighting conditions. I was also worried about the amount of light it would provide as other…
