You don’t need 4K… not when you have this camera! Just finish shooting a commercial yesterday for one of my high end luxury property clients and decided to try out this camera for the first time since I received it. Bottom line… I’ll soon be ordering 2 more. Not only is the camera lightweight and easy to transport, the quality of the video is exceptional. As much as hate to say it… equal to and in some lighting scenarios better than my $3,000 Panasonic which will soon be for sale as well as my Canon EOS 7D which “use to be” my go to…
So Far So Good Great little kit, great camera! I’m using this primarily for recording speakers at our church. So, the camera is in the sound booth in the back of the church, and EASILY zooms in on the speaker with room to spare. I don’t know exactly how many feet this is, but it out performs the zoom on my kit lens EFS 18-135mm that came with my 80D. I was surprised at how small the camera is physically. Great Film Student Camera We bought this camera, as part of the 6ave bundle, for our son who is a film student in college. He loves it. The camera is great, and he was floored with all of the extras in the bundle. In fact, rather than use the university’s cameras (which are very good) he has found this one to be much better and versatile. Also, the flip screen helps a great deal for weird angles where the camera operator cannot look through the viewfinder.
