I sought this as a beginner Picture quality is adequate for general purposes. Suited well for portraits or landscapes with pretty decent resolution. My roommates and I have even managed some surprisingly fair quality macro photos paired with a $30 Altura lens. Battery has proven plenty resilient with brief, but frequent intermittent use.
