Good Price, Behind the times I bought this camera because it was the cheapest action camera I could find with the decent reviews. I think its important to note that the company selling the camera is enticing customers to write five star reviews in order to receive free accessories. The overall video quality is pretty bad, the images are highly pixelated, the footage is choppy, and the 4K footage looks like 720p footage from my first camcorder I got almost ten years ago. I am a filmmaker and my intentions were to use this as a second camera cutting footage from this camera and footage from my DSLR into one scene (for small projects) but despite being the same resolution the footage from this camera is not of comparable quality (as the advertising collateral led me to believe). Whites have a tendency to get blown out and dark areas are too dark with this camera, the color was off to the point that I couldn’t make the footage look decent even with post production processing and color grading. Seems to be a quality product I purchased this while it was on sale for $39.99, I waited to write a review until I had a chance to test it with the SD card I purchased as well. The camera works very well. Smooth tracking and good quality picture so far. I purchased the SanDisk 64GB microSDXC UHS-1 Card with Adapter. The card seems to function well with this camera. After much googling it appears the only consensus is that this camera should use a class 10 microSD. Otherwise this one seems to do the trick.I like the wifi function with the XDV app on my phone. Gives extra freedom to an already mobile and very portable device. I will say the protective case has already come in handy. Not 10 minutes after opening the package I dropped the camera from my lap onto my hard floor.
