Remote For Camera That Has No Remote This camera appears to be excellent for the price, with ease of use and simple to understand menus. This camera package includes an infrared remote shutter release…which is one of the main reasons I purchased it. Unfortunately, the B500 model does not support infrared remote control. So the shutter release add-on is useless.This is very disappointing, as including the infrared unit implies the camera supports it. Another case of buyer beware, or at least read the fine print very carefully. That said, if the remote release is not important to you, this is a very nice package with an overabundance of accessories. It only loses one star in my opinion due to the superfluous remote.Added: Forgot to mention the image of the camera and accessories shows a 64GB memory card; this is incorrect. The card that came with my camera was a 32GB card — which is what is listed in the specs. Again, one needs to read carefully before ordering.
Freezes sometimes but great camera I love the camera so far I’m having a hard time learning how to use certain parts of it to get the best picture but I believe that once I learn it’ll be wonderful I don’t like that it takes regular batteries because they die fast I also didn’t like that I left it on record and I didn’t record for the entirety that I needed it to I don’t know if it was because of the batteries or what happened and sometimes it freezes and I have to open the battery section and then we close it to make it come on again but other than that it’s a nice camera
