The Theta V 360° spherical camera is easy to use and compact enough to carry everywhere. A new image sensor and processor produces more realistic “as-if-you-were-there” 360° content. High-speed data transfer allows you to quickly and wirelessly upload 14 megapixel stills and high-resolution 4K videos for immediate showing and sharing. Omni-directional audio recording functionality enables 360° spatial audio. The camera can connect to a mobile device using either Bluetooth or wireless LAN to allow for flexible operation based on user preferences. In addition, the Theta V has a highly expandable operating system so that it can receive future performance enhancements through firmware updates.

What a disappointment! This is a novel idea and a neat toy, but it is NOT ready for professional use by a long shot.The app is completely useless. It will not maintain connectivity with the camera.The WiFi is intermittent at best and never once stayed connected for more than a few minutes. I was NEVER able to get the Bluetooth to connect. Additionally, when using the camera, your phone must release the internet connection from your local WiFi and won’t connect via 4G because the camera…

Great camera within its limits for resolution This is a fun camera and I’ve enjoyed making 360’s. My intent is to use it in travel to get a 360 panorama interior view of a church or museum, or to use it on a high trail to get a 360 of the mountains. Pic’s can be shared via Facebook, RoundMe, and other sites. The trade off is limited resolution when compared to more traditional panoramas done with a 35mm.
