With the RICOH WG-50, we achieved a waterproof performance down to 14m, and a shock proof against falls from a height of 1.6m. The RICOH WG-50 also features a freeze proof design to withstand temperatures as low as -10 , and is crushproof against weights up to 100kgf (kilogram force). With newly added Outdoor View Setting mode, a mode which instantantly changes the brightness of the LCD, the WG-50 is far more suitable with outdoor activity then any other previous WG model.

I love my Ricoh WG-50 Great adventure camera. Just got it today. Bought two- one for me, one for the wifey. Took it on a birding trip. You get the carabiner with strap, together with the camera. Also comes with a battery, USB cable and power adapter. Battery is charged via the camera and USB connected to the power adapter. Camera also comes with a macro stand. Great camera for rough invironements This is the forth (same family) one of these cameras I have purchased over the years, I use them for home inspections and take several thousand pictures a year. I use these in some very unfriendly environments, crawl spaces, attics, hot and cold weather and in the rain and snow. Disappointed in the macro photos I bought this camera especially for its capability to do macro photographing. I am unfortunately returning it as I do not think it is very good for that specific purpose. Seems to not know what to focus on despite having the focus right on the middle of the item. It is also more or less impossible to see on the display how the photos turn out, you won’t know until you upload them.
