Nicely impressed. I bought this camera thinking that I would be returning it the very next day, but the more pictures I take with it, the more I appreciate that it was an unsurpassed bargain. Not being new to the taking of pictures, I have realized that the color, definition, sharpness, and resolution of its pictures correspond to a lot more expensive cameras, which makes it a keeper. This camera possesses the right hardware, and all the minuses I have found on it could potentially be solved with firmware…
So far so good. Received camera, firmware updated immediately through the app. Have been shooting in autofocus with no problems locking onto my subject, am getting vibrant beautiful results. Have been toying with manual settings and attached an old flash I had and it fires. I’m pleased with my purchase. Bought the camera to have a lighter, smaller option for travel.
Very Good camera. Wish it had flip-out screen & mic input… This camera is all you can ask for and more, BUT the zoom lens… you see the forward-most ring? It does nothing. It spins. It does not control the focus or anything useful like that. It just spins. The large back ring, however, works as expected. You turn the ring and it zooms in and out like it’s supposed to.I know the above can be fixed with simply buying a better lens, but really, no on-lens manual focus?The controls on this camera are very intuitive, but not dumb-ed down like…
