Glorified phone I bought this (at an Apple store) because I wanted an MP3 player – I just want it to play music and audiobooks. What I got was a glorified phone that just didn’t have the capability of making a phone call – you can apparently text from it however. What is the point of calling it an iPod if it is so overloaded with additional capabilities/apps that it may as well be an iPhone. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought an iPhone; I just wanted an iPod but that is apparently too much to ask.
Why are people mad about these? Perfect for those who LOVE music but donât want to fill up all their storage on their phones. I needed something that allowed me to listen to MY music when WiFi wasnât available and I have an expansive music collection. Also perfect for saving some podcasts for a flight if you donât want to pay for in flight WiFi. Love the speed and features. Those who are bitter that it does more than the original iPods are never going to be happy with anything. Get the iPod, listen to music, be happy itâs not…
4 years waiting 🙂 i couldn’t understand why the ipod’s were no longer available on the apple catalog, i was about to give up hope and buy an iphone to handle my itunes library, until today when i read on the newspaper that the ipod touch is gonna resurface, so: thank you apple !
