Flamethrower and out of control thermals I had high hopes for this card and once everything was installed and drivers updated I noticed the temps were insanely high. I created a custom fan profile to curve and this was not enough in lei of dropping the power limit. Thus I started the process of a teardown to see maybe of the thermal past was not applied to this unit. Good thermals and overclocking We have this card in a case with four fans and a 2080 Super Founders Edition in a case with nine fans. Overclocking both, we’re getting a similar clock speed profile with this card as with the 2080S. That’s just to underscore the great thermals and stability that we’ve been getting out of this card. Works great Wonderful card.Overclocks great.I can hardly hear it even at full fan speed.Been playing star citizen and destiny 2 with it and it’s running smooth.Maybe there was some defectives when others first got there cards, but it seems fixed now.
