Can’t turn OFF light permanently The spotlight cam quality is good. easy to install and setup. The only complaint is not being able to permanently turn off the light. No matter how I setup the light control in the app, the light will go on when there is motion at night. The “Motion Zones for Lights” distance set to minimum and the 3 zones set to “OFF”, yet the light will go ON when there is motion. The light can be turned off by toggling the manual control but it will kick on again with the next motion…

Customer Video Review Length:: 0:12 Mins I used the electrical box of the outdoor lamp as the 125V power source and wiring/setting up this camera was a piece of cake. If you want a more professional job hire an electrician, but even for this old man this was too easy. I only needed my beautiful wife to hold on to the stepladder.
Great addition to my home security package I have been researching the security camera options for quite some time; approximately the last 18 months. Well, when I recently closed on my new house and property I knew I needed to make a decision and get something up and running.I have a number of security systems in place now and this Ring Spotlight is just one of those systems. The setup was extremely easy and I decided on the wired version to alleviate the whole “what do I do if the internal battery dies when I’m away…
