Finally found a camera to meet my needs. This camera is probably overkill for the average consumer. I have been looking a very long time for a camera that can show print on paper legibly at a distance of 6 feet or so. I have tried other unifi products, other 4k cameras, etc. None have been able to match the capabilities of showing very fine detail like this camera. I don’t like the price, but I bought o 1 and immediately bought 3 more after seeing how well the first one performed . They are that good.
The price is ridiculous Much better cameras with better night vision that work with better NVRs are sold much cheaper from reputable security camera companies. How is this price ever justified. At best the camera with these specs should be around $200So disappointed specially since my entire home network is build by their products. I would have loved to buy 9 of their cameras for my pre wired POE system but doesn’t look like this will happen anytime soon.
Quality 4K Camera This is the first 4K camera for Ubiquiti that delivers a nice balance of image quality, night vision performance in an extremely rugged metal enclosure. This camera coupled with UniFi Protect makes for a very nice end user experience.Iâve used many IP camera brands, including the cheaper Chinese based brands that others have mentioned, but those donât begin to compare in build quality / performance relative to this camera. In my opinion, this camera is build like, and performs…
