Quite the upgrade for an inexpensive action cam! I upgraded from the Akaso EK7000 cam to this (the EK7000 Pro). While they are similar, this one packs a punch. The 4k video looks better and this one is a touchscreen!.Size-wise, they are almost identical. The EK7000 PRO fits perfectly in all the accessories I already have for my original one but this one still comes with a ton of accessories and mounts for various surfaces.You can set the light settings depending on where you will be shooting video, but the camera also does it on it’s own if you don’t want to mess with that. Going from darker to light or vice-versa has quick transitions and even shooting in low-light conditions were still extremely viewable.Of course, this one is also waterproof and while it doesn’t come with a memory card, they can be found on amazon for cheap. You can control the camera through the on-board controls, the included wireless remote, and even download the apps from Google Play or Apple Store. I can’t vouch for…
Cool little camera! Length:: 1:28 Mins I’m not going to write a lot about things most reviewers have already covered so I’m just going to provide some tips. I mostly use it for cycling.1 : Battery life will last about 37-40 minute if you use the best settings and features while recording. Recording at lower resolution, no stabilizer and warm weather will get you an hour+ of battery life. ( cold weather limits all batteries)2. The cable that hooks to the battery charger can be connected to the camera and will allow you to download all your media to the computer. It’s much faster than wifi with large videos.3. When in the case the audio recording is not good due to the microphone being blocked. Best solution is to record audio to a separate device and sync to the video later. Sound records as it should (don’t expect it to be loud inside the waterproof enclosure). Works underwater as it says, while using the waterproof case. The remote control is redesigned and works perfectly. Touchscreen is very responsive and simple to navigate. Wifi mode connects quickly and the ability to control the camera with your phone is a handy feature (need to download the iSMART DV app). There is an adequate selection of starter accessories to get you started and the batteries last a respectable enough amount of time and recharge quickly. Image stabilization and other features are a nifty upgrade to less expensive models.Cons: The battery cover is a bit poorly designed and I have cracked the piece you need to use to open the hatch on both cameras I have.
