It is a Rolex, I own three, My daily watch is a Breitling SS & gold. I purchased my Gold Submariner back when I could not afford it. New at the time it was $13,000.00My wife blew a head gasket. She was so pissed, I only wore on special occasions. Was it worth it? Yes, on many levels. First it feels good to wear, it feels good to know you can afford one. and today my wife has eaten a little crow, when we brought to the jeweler I purchased it from and he offered me $22,900.00 for it. I then realized that it might be more complicated than I had anticipated, and went back to my apartment to read the instructions. What a disappointment! Turns out that this watch is not actually a “submarine” but rather a “submarineR” –that’s a big difference. Sure, the watch looks okay but it’s not really more accurate than my trust old digital Casio (although the Casio’s plastic strap is getting a bit worn, so maybe I’ll start wearing this one), and I’m kind of bummed that I sold my Audi so I…
